About

Call me Howl. I'm 23, he/him, and reside in Asia (so I cannot give prompt replies per time-zone differences). With a decade of experience under my belt, I find myself a frequent player in modern and fantasy stories, though I also dabble in horror and sometimes offer to master/lead a campaign. It's rare, but I may also indulge in group roleplays with the right crowd.

On this page, you'll find bits and pieces of my creative works, ranging from prompts, character musings to idea skeletons, pairing lists and such.

For us both to enjoy roleplaying with each other, please assess yourself and be sure that you are of the following characteristics:

Patient. Being busy and a forgetful person is a bad cocktail for those who want quick replies. Demands for snappy responses also lessen my drive to reply.

Cooperative. Even if I came up with the plot backbone, there would always be room for ideas and suggestions. Please work with me, and not under me. Don't be afraid to bring up feedback so we can keep each other engaged in the story.

Grammatically competent. I don't mind the occasional typos, or brain farts that happen when you're sleepy or distracted, but I cannot invest in reading posts from someone who writes like they're shortcut-texting on Twitter or Tumblr.

Third-person narrative. Using "I" feels much too personal, especially when we get to the saucier scenes. Which brings us to the last but not least criteria ...

Adult. I'm 23 and feel uncomfortable writing with minors. Kik is a Canadian company, and the legal age of consent there is 16. However, conscience-wise, I'd prefer if you're above 20 yourself.

Password to get instant brownie points when you message me, as proof that you've read thus far: "Chocolate mints."

Also, I may call myself an "advanced literate" writer but really, I prefer "flexi lit" since I don't believe one needs to write a wall of text every time to push forward; some scenes require rapid back-and-forth and pre-writing my follow-ups would only lock my partner(s) into a specific sort of reaction. Roleplaying literacy isn't solely decided by length, anyway.

PROMPT #1

My Character: Villain (True Neutral)
Your Character: Hero's Sidekick / Civilian / Law Enforcement

"So the sleeping beauty has finally woken up. I haven't even given you the magical kiss yet."

A familiar, taunting voice.

Your bearings recalibrate and soon you realize you're staring into a pair of amused amber eyes, the owner's face accentuated with a dubious smirk.

"Before you overreact, don't flail about now. I don't want your wounds to rip just for me to redo the bandages from scratch. I don't have the patience of a saint, as you should know."

PROMPT #2

My Character: Stalker Dream Demon (Yandere)
Your Character: Object of Affection

My Character (MC) manifests as a sex-starved heartthrob whenever Your Character (YC) dreams. He's always quiet, domineering, and all that could be remembered when YC awakes would be his burning touch that leaves behind hunger and a sense of loss.

In the conscious realm, MC is a pathetic stalker who struggles to get into YC's good graces. This one-sided courtship is prolonged for years, until a masquerade party allows for MC to appear as his demon self without worry. He won't stop until he gets YC's love, awake and asleep, and if anyone were to stop him ...

Demons have never shied away from killing humans.
